    1866 Shield Nickel for sale. The coin pictured is the exact coin you will receive.
    There are 2 die breaks at the top of the coin; through the O in GOD and the first T in TRUST. The date is very faint, but given the only 2 years with rays are 1866 or 1867, the rough shape of the 6 can be seen with a good eye as the last digit. It has darker, corroded surfaces on both sides. P
