    This 1883 Shield Nickel grades Choice BU MS+. This is a flashy coin with some nice luster showing. It is original with nice natural surfaces, there is a trace of some nice color in the fields. There are no heavy or problem marks or hits, just a few tiny little nicks and ticks. It really is a pleasing coin with nice eye appeal. Just a great example from the last year of issue for Shield Nickels. This coin would make a welcome addition to a high grade set.
