    Description

    This 1883 Shield Nickel grades Choice BU MS-61... it is graded, holdered, authenticated, and guaranteed by NGC! This is such a nice coin for the assigned grade, it looks much nicer than just MS-61 to me. This is a very flashy coin with lots of luster and it is well struck. It is an original coin with some pretty light golden tone. The surfaces are quite nice, there are no heavy marks or hits, and no spots or specks. You see some die cracks near the rim on the obverse, these are Not scratches. Just a great coin with nice Eye Appeal, and PQ for the grade! This coin would make a welcome addition to a high grade set. I have included a greatly enlarged high resolution digital photo for you to evaluate for yourself.
