ORIGINAL
1944 BOXED SET OF "WALT DISNEY FUZZY WALL PLACQUES" DIE-CUT FIGURES
.
Made by PLANE FACTS CO. of New York, these 1/8" thick play board  figures are covered with colored flocking and accompanied by the original unused fabric "hooks" to mount them on a wall.  Classic images of MICKEY MOUSE ~ DONALD DUCK ~ GOOFY ~ PINOCCHIO ~ and PLUTO.
Each one is sized a little different, ranging from 6 3/8" to 10 1/2" tall.  The box is not dated, but an ad for these appeared in a 1944 magazine (photo attached but not included in this lot).  Identical figures without flocking were offered as a subscription premium from WALT DISNEY'S COMICS & STORIES for Christmas 1946 (photo attached but comic ad is not included in this lot).
See photos for a closer look.  Each figure is in nice condition, without creases.  Donald, Goofy & Pluto have small pinholes at their top; all of the fabric hanging tags are still in their original envelope.  The box itself has three separated pieces from side panels ~ but they can be reattached to form the entire box (ie, nothing is missing).  Tape reinforcement around the edges and sides.  A wonderful group worthy of any Disney collection!
