This is an old Baker or "Pie Man" from the days they use to carry their wares.
He is 10" tall and hard stuffed with a composition or mache face and base.
He has glass eyes and papier-mache cakes and breads.
His clothing has the normal overall yellowing from age. The green composition base
looks to once be attached to some kind of cardboard.
