    Antique Stamping Die 1909 OHIO BOAT PERMIT with NOS  Brass Tag * MC Lilley
    From the archives of the MC Lilley, this listing is for an extremely rare (UNIQUE) antique stamping die that was used to make a 1909 Ohio Boat Permit.  An antique, unissued example of the Boat Permit is included with the die.  The steel die contains the text stamped into the brass, shield-shaped permit.  The steel die has maximum dimensions 3” x 3 ⅜” x 1 ¼” high.  It weighs 1 lb 10 oz and the condition is Excellent.  These boat permits were issued for specific lakes and reservoirs and I have stamps for a few of those listed separately.  Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.  See my other auctions.   Combined shipping is available to save postage.
