Canon AE-1 35mm film SLR boxed set with F1.8 50mm lens & winder A2 - working

From an estate sale.  Found, fortunately, with batteries out.  I put in batteries and the winder was a bit hesitant at first, but then began working correctly.  Metering is working.
The battery door has a glue repair to a crack - a common problem on these.
The ready light on the winder does NOT work.  The
camera's
winder connection cover plate is properly stowed on the winder.
Instruction manuals and some other documents are included.
