Up for sale is my EXAKTA VX 35mm Film Camera With Carl ZEISS JENA BIOTAR 58mm f2.0 "RED T" Lens. The camera and lens were professionally serviced a few years ago and are both working and in very good condition for their age with some minor signs of use. The camera and lens combination are priced lower than the cost to service them.
As stated above, the camera was professionally CLA'd a few years back. I have only run a few rolls of film through it since service and everything works as it should. Film advance, shutter curtain and speeds are all operating normally. Light seals were replaced when the camera was serviced. This camera is in beautiful condition for its age.
The lens was also professionally serviced. Price this lens individually on eBay and you will see it is highly valued. The Biotar "Red T" 58mm has a 12 blade aperture which helps produce a wonderful creamy bokeh. It is a nice portrait and all around lens that even works well adapted to digital. The lens has great color and nice sharpness.
There is a small speck on the inside of the front element that could not be removed during service. The good news is that it does not appear in images
. Otherwise the aperture blades are clean and the focus operates smoothly.
