    Description

Mats Jonasson Limited Edition Lead Glass Eagle 8 3/8"
I have for sale a lovely and rare glass eagle statue by Mats Jonasson. Its numbered #507 out of #975. I *think* the pattern number is 1785, but it may be 1985; I can't tell if it's a 7 or a 9. It has no marks except for a couple small scratches on the bottom, and a tiny fleabite on one of the edges on the bottom. It weights 8lbs 5oz. It measures 8 7/8" across and 8 3/8" tall.
This particular beauty came from a mid-century modern style estate in Sarasota, FL. I was quite keen on holding onto it because it looked SO LOVELY on my desk and it always gets a ton of compliments from patriots and art enthusiasts alike, but I recently got engaged and my happy circumstances require that I sell many of the pieces I've collected over the years. This piece will be most carefully packed, will include shipping insurance and signature confirmation to ensure that it gets to you safely.
    Disclaimer:
Smoke-free home. Ships same day in most cases (Orders after 1pm EST ships next day or as soon as you've replied if I've messaged you). Everything sold as-is and are final sales! If it doesn't work for you, relist it!
I will do my absolute best to ship all glassware with as much caution and care as possible, but I cannot prevent reckless or purposeful damage done in transit by carriers, so every package will be insured for no more than what it sold for, excluding shipping costs, and all refunds due to breakage will be for no more than you paid for it (I am not going to give a full refund for 10 items if only 1 broke), after clear pictures of the damaged item and damaged box are submitted and an insurance claim is filed with USPS. I will combine shipping if at all possible, just ask for an invoice once you have the items in your cart, before you pay! Once in the possession of USPS, the item's ownership is transferred to you, so I cannot be held liable for packages stolen from your property or destroyed by extreme weather; if you are unsure that your delivered items will be safe in your mail box or at your front door until you retrieve it, please ask in your invoice request that I add signature confirmation for an additional .50; all items over 0 will have signature confirmation automatically included at my expense, for both our peace of minds.
I am not a professional glass dealer, I am not well-versed in all the patterns and brands available, and I do not know everything there is to know about glassware, so if you have any information on the piece(s) listed, or have found any mistakes, please message me! I love to learn more!
The "description" includes the full description of the item as well as all the high-resolution photos, so please review both carefully, zooming in on photos. Everyone's interpretation of "good" or "like new" is different from person to person, so I cannot give a sweeping generalization.
The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, whether visible or invisible to the naked eye, or the effects of aging. Any condition statement given, as a courtesy to the buyer, is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact.
All photos are taken in a home photography studio in front of a neutrally-colored backdrop at about 5000k, which mimics outdoor light in cool, shady conditions. I cannot be held responsible for how your screen shows the color, as many monitors are over-saturated and uncalibrated. Perception of color varies from person to person and is impacted by the light you're looking at the item in, so you may notice a shift in color between what you see on the screen vs in-hand. (i.e. white looks like ivory in warm light, but may have a blue tint in winter).
If you are unsure of the condition, or need more measurements, message me for further details, and I will be happy to oblige.
