I'd forgotten how wonderfully simple and effective this camera is until I dug it out of storage.Soooo . . . let's start with the camera- the bakelite(?) parts (front grip, back grip area and old battery cover) are . . . baked. They are functional though.
I replaced the old battery cover years ago with a 4-AA battery cover. All functions that I could test work well; it seems to be in fine working order but I didn't film-test it. Also (see the photo), there is a crack on top of the front of the viewfinder. The info screen has a bit of stain creeping in from the edges (see photo). The interior is really clean. Strap is great but a bit of oxidation on the buckles that can be made to look better. NOTE: that is not rust on the film rails in the interior shot, it's some reflection of something; they are in perfect shape.
75 - 300 AF 4.5 - 5.6 lens is in great shape, doesn't need comment. The white "patina" in the grooves isn't nearly as noticeable as the picture indicates. No box.
35 - 70 / 4 AF lens with box is also in great shape except the focus ring grooves have the storage white "patina." Clean inside, though. Lens cover missing.
Also included are a 49mm UV filter and a 55mm 80A filter (blue), both in excellent shape.
