Description

This listing is for a
MINOLTA XG-1
() SLR Camera for 35mm film with a
VIVITAR 70-210mm 1:4.5 MC Macro-Focusing Zoom Lens
(77477240) for Minolta MD-Mount, plus a
MINOLTA XG-7
() for spare parts - all Made in Japan.
The lens comes with a genuine VIVITAR UV 52mm screw-in filter and generic front and rear caps.
There are two camera-bodies included here because I have only one battery-holder between them. The XG-1 seems to function well and is in good cosmetic condition. The XG-7 is in rough condition with dings, dents, and an engraving. However, it also seems to work. I don't know what the difference between the two models is as they appear functionally identical.
As for the lens, the glass is clear, aperture-blades are clean and the diaphragm "snappy." The mount looks new. Adjustments for focus and aperture move smoothly and freely. The "macro-focusing" occurs at the longest focal-length, meaning you need to turn the focusing/zoom ring to the right before you can push it up to zoom out. Cosmetic condition is "bargain," meaning it has the average wear and patina.
Fine Print:
Pictures are of the actual item for sale. The item is used with the age-appropriate wear and patina. You will get what is shown in the product-specific pictures (i.e., pictures of the item for sale rather than, if applicable, anything shown in example-pictures taken with the item for sale). I'll accept a return of any Buy-it-Now purchase should it turn out that there's something contrary to what I've written here. If you bought it after winning an auction or I accepted your offer, then the sale is final and you accept the item as-is and without any returns. All sales to bidders/buyers from outside the USA are final; you
accept the item as-is and without any returns, so please be sure to understand what exactly you're buying.
Shipping to U.S.A. destinations is either included or calculated per each listing. If you bid or buy and have a shipping-address outside of the U.S.A. then you agree to pay actual shipping, which will be reflected on an invoice that eBay will send (please wait for the invoice before paying). I'll be happy to consider any questions and, if appropriate, append the answers to the listing for the benefit of other shoppers.
