    Description

This listing is for a Vintage Papua New Guinea   Story Board hand Carved Wood Panel made by Master Carver Kipa Gaindimi .
Here is his biography posted on Alcheringa Gallery , where this piece was probably purchased from by its previous owner:
Kipa Gaindimi is a master carver originally from Yentchen Village in the Mid Sepik now living in Kambot Village.
Gaindimi is particularly renowned for his carvings on bark. His deeply sculptural storyboards continue to evolve, often relating to daily life in the village, such as the harvest and preparation of sago. His works also play an important role in reinforcing the culture by maintaining a visual presence of mythical heroes and stories of creation.
He also carves very fine model canoes and the traditional ancestral figures from Kambot village featuring mothers and children.
His work is found in international collections in Australia, Canada and the United States.

Quoted Domestic Shipment is for lower 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii , Puerto Rico and other destinations , please email me for a quote.
All shipments will be Insured with the exception of specific items listed to be shipped by Postal First Class Mail or Media Mail which will travel Uninsured at buyer's risk. I pack extremely well.
Great News On International shipments: Ebay has instituted a new International Shipment Option around March of 2020 Which is Insured up to 0 USD, Shows Delivery Confirmation and uses First Class. This option has resolved Issues with First Class Shipments which cannot be insured and did not show a delivery confirmation, hence I am adding a Shipment option called EBAY INTERNATIONAL STANDARD DELIVERY which in general is cheaper and roughly about half the cost of Priority Mail offered on Items that are under 0 and under 4 lbs of weight. If you do not see this option, ask for it and I will add it to the listing if I have missed to do so.Please note that in some cases the difference between priority mail and eBay International Standard Delivery is much less than 50% . In some cases about 19%  and less. This is because First Class is the method ebay International Standard Delivery uses and First Class uses larger denominations as oppose to 1 ounce at a time and I think like Half Pound or One Pound at a time. Look for this new option under shipping tab.
For combined shipping and saving on shipment of multiple items together, add items to cart, goto cart and request total for multiple shipments.
