Description

Introduced in 1964, the original, made in Japan Asahi Pentax Spotmatic SP was one of the first SLRs to offer through-the-lens (TTL) exposure metering. It's a solidly built versatile easy to use 35mm SLR camera, which is still popular with student and amateur photographers. The camera accepts M42 screw mount lenses like the popular high-quality Super Takumar 50mm F1.4 lens that comes with the camera. The kit also includes an accessory "cold" shoe for flash, manuals, lens cap, original Pentax camera case and strap. The camera, lens and flash are all in excellent condition and all the controls rings function properly and smoothly (including the camera light meter and self timer). There is no fungus, mold, clouding, fogging, on the lens or camera interior.
